This week's post is a guided meditation for the best possible outcome to a situation. Please do not listen to the audio, or attempt to do the meditation while you’re driving or doing anything active.
This meditation is adapted from Wayne Dyer’s book, Getting In The Gap. It’s both a simple and a profound experience.
You can practice this meditation on your own, by choosing a sentence from a prayer, poem or quote that resonates with you. Wayne Dyer used the Lord’s Prayer, but the words are not the point. The point is the space between the words.
In the process, each word is repeated a few times, then the next word is repeated a few times, then you SLIP back into the space that exists between these two words.
Be sure you have ten minutes or more of uninterrupted space and time.
For this guided meditation, we’ll be using a quote by Louis Armstrong, “What We Play Is Life.”

Get into a comfortable meditation pose. Either laying down, or seated.
Close your eyes. Take a deep breath.
Take another deep breath. In, Out. In, Out.
Now, repeat the word, WHAT, WHAT, WHAT, WHAT, WHAT, now move to the next word and repeat WE, WE, WE, WE, WE, now SLIP back and into the space between the two words WHAT and WE.
Rest here. Rest in this space.
Now, move forward from this space to the word WE, and repeat again, WE, WE, WE, WE, WE, now move to the next word and repeat, PLAY, PLAY, PLAY, PLAY, PLAY, now SLIP back into the space between the two words WE and PLAY.
Rest here. Feel the vibration in this space. Sense the grandness, the possibility.
From this space, move forward to the word PLAY and repeat again, PLAY, PLAY, PLAY, PLAY, PLAY, now move to the next word and repeat, IS, IS, IS, IS, IS, now SLIP back into the space between the two words PLAY and IS.
Rest. Feel the vast space. The vibration. Possibility. Gratitude. Feel yourself floating. Pour the gratitude in your heart into this space.
Now, move forward from this space to the word IS, and repeat again, IS, IS, IS, IS, IS, now move to the next word and repeat, LIFE, LIFE, LIFE, LIFE, LIFE, now SLIP back into the space between the two words IS and LIFE.
Rest here. Float in the vibration. Float in the possibility. All possibilities exist in this space. Breath in possibility. Breath out possibility. Now, let a thought arise into this space, a worry or fear. Put your worry or fear into this space, and add to it, JOY, add to it your intention for the BEST possible outcome from all possibilities, add to it GRATITUDE and AMAZEMENT for bringing you the BEST possible outcome, THANK THIS SPACE for giving you the best possible outcome. Feel the certainty that possibility knows the best possible outcome and that because your intention is for the BEST possible outcome, whatever happens now, will be the best of all possibilities. As you float in this space, know that your job now is to simply live and pay attention to how LIFE and possibility reveal themselves to you. Thank this space. Add your gratitude. Feel the vibration and say the words, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.
Now, move forward to the word, LIFE and repeat, LIFE, LIFE, LIFE, LIFE.
As you repeat the word in your head, Float your consciousness up and back into your LIFE.
Rest here.
This is your life. The best possible outcome will reveal itself. As it does, it may not look the way you think it will. Remind yourself, your intention was for the best possible outcome. The best possible outcome is revealing itself.
Feel the Joy inside you. Remember, YOU are this space. You are 99.99% empty space. Now you know, this space is not empty. This space is where all possibilities exist and how your reality is created.
Take another deep breath. In, Out. In, Out.
